Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:30 on 6 April, 2020, until 16:00 on 10 April, 2020, is to close Watson Lane, Aberdeen, between its junction with Rosemount Place and a point ten metres or thereby north of this junction. This will be closed for only one of these days. There will also be a prohibition of waiting at any time on either side of Loanhead Terrace, Aberdeen, between its junction with Rosemount Place and the north boundary of 2 Loanhead Terrace. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. During the closure of Watson Lane, the existing one-way restriction on Watson Lane, Aberdeen will be suspended.
The measure is necessary to protect public safety during duct and cabinet installation by Openreach.
