Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets; The northern carriageway of Primrosehill Gardens, Aberdeen, between its junction with Clifton Road and a point 10 metres in a north easterly direction from 08:00 on 19th March, 2020, until 17:00 on 20th March, 2020. An alternative route is available via southern carriageway of Primrosehill Gardens; Clifton Lane, Aberdeen, between its junction with Primrosehill Drive and a point 10 metres in a south easterly direction from 08:00 on 9th April, 2020, until 17:00 on 10th April, 2020. An alternative route is available via Primrosehill Drive, Leslie Road and Clifton Road. There will also be no waiting on the same stretch of these roads.; Leslie Road slip road Aberdeen, between its junction with Great Northern Road and a point 25 metres in a south easterly direction from 08:00 on 15th April, 2020, until 17:00 on 17th April, 2020.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Clifton Lane, Clifton Road, Great Northern Road, Hilton Place, Hilton Street, Leslie Road, Primrosehill Drive, Primrosehill Gardens, Primrosehill Place, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 17th March, 2020, until 17:00 on 27th April, 2020.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
The no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time.
