Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the Order, which will operate from 07:30 on 17 February, 2020, until 18:00 on 5 April, 2020, is to close Froghall Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Froghall Terrace and McDonald Court. There will also be a prohibition of waiting at any time on either side of the same stretch of road. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.
There will also be a closure on Froghall Road, Aberdeen, between its east junction with Froghall Terrace and the north boundary of 15 Froghall Road. There will also be a prohibition of waiting at any time on either side of the same stretch of road. This will not be in place at the same time as the closure listed above. During this time, The parking on the south side of Froghall Terrace, Aberdeen, between both its junctions with Froghall Road, and on the north side of Froghall Terrace, Aberdeen, between both the west junction with Froghall Road and Spencer Court.
The restrictions are in the interests of public safety during street lighting improvement works by Nicol of Skene for CHAP Construction.
Alternative Route: An alternative route is available via Froghall Terrace and Froghall Road.
