Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 62(1) of the Roads Scotland Act 1984

The effect of this order, which will operate from 07:00 until 12:00 on 2 November 2019 is to impose a road closure on Hazelhead Avenue, Aberdeen between its junction with Groats Road and a point at the southern-most end of the Highland Games field.
At this time, there will also be a series of temporary waiting restrictions, as detailed in the schedule below, to ensure public safety and avert congestion during the MORUN event at Hazelhead Park.

SCHEDULE
HAZELHEAD POLICIES ROAD both sides, from its junction with Hazelhead Avenue to its junction with Hazeldene Road.

UN-NAMED ROAD OF 50m from the Somebody Cares charity shop to Craigebuckler Avenue either side, for its entire length

HAZELDENE ROAD Either side, between its junctions with Queens Road and Groats Road, also including from the Hayfield Riding Centre, east for 550 metres or thereby.

BUS TURNING CIRCLE ROAD ADJACENT TO HAZELHEAD PARK ENTRANCE either side, from its junction with Queens Road to its most westerly point, except for scheduled public transport

UN-NAMED ROAD, GROATS ROAD AND HAZELHEAD AVENUE TO HAZELDENE ROAD either side, from its junction with Groats Road and Hazelhead Avenue to its junction with Hazeldene Road.
