Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets;
Alexander Drive, Aberdeen, from the gable end of number 33 Alexander Drive to the gable end of number 35-49 Alexander Drive from 08:00 on 17th October, 2019, until 17:00 on 18th October, 2019. An alternative route is available via Ritchie Place and Dill Road; Alexander Drive, Aberdeen, between its junction with Dill Place and the gable end of number 13 Alexander Drive from 08:00 on 22nd October, 2019, until 17:00 on 23rd October, 2019. An alternative route is available via Ritchie Place, Dill Road & Dill Place; Primrosehill Drive, Aberdeen, between its junction with Leslie Road and the rear of number 67 Leslie Road from 08:00 until 17:00 on 29th October, 2019. An alternative route is available via Leslie Road, Clifton Road and Primrosehill Gardens.
There will also be a prohibition of traverse on the footpath on Cowan Place between its junctions with Hayton Road and Alexander Drive. An alternative route is available via Alexander Drive, Dill Road and Hayton Road.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Alexander Drive, Alexander Terrace, Cowan Place, Dill Place, Dill Road, Donbank Place, Formartine Road, Gordons Mills Road, Gort Road, Hayton Road, Montgomery Road, Pennan Road, Ritchie Place, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 7th October, 2019, until 17:00 on 17th November, 2019.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
The no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time.
