Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Ivanhoe Road, Aberdeen, from the boundary between number 99 and 101 Ivanhoe Road to the gable end of number 109 Ivanhoe Road from 08:00 on 10th September, 2019, until 17:00 on 11th September, 2019. An alternative route is available via Talisman Drive and Talisman Road and also on Talisman Drive, Aberdeen, from the junction with Talisman Road to the gable end of number 13 Talisman Drive from 08:00 on 14th October, 2019, until 17:00 on 15th October, 2019. An alternative route is available via Ivanhoe Road and Talisman Road.
There will also be a prohibition of traverse on the following footpaths;
The east side footpath on Talisman Walk, Aberdeen between its junctions with Morrison Drive and Ivanhoe Road from 08:00 on 12th September, 2019, until 17:00 on 13th September, 2019. An alternative route is available via west side footpath on Talisman Walk; the south east footpath on Ivanhoe Road, Aberdeen between its junctions with Auchinyell Road and Ivanhoe Road from 08:00 on 17th September, 2019, until 17:00 on 19th September, 2019. An alternative route is available via Auchinyell Road, Talisman Drive and Ivanhoe Road; the east side footpath on Ivanhoe Walk, Aberdeen between its junctions with Morrison Drive and Ivanhoe Road from 08:00 on 19th September, 2019, until 17:00 on 21st September, 2019. An alternative route is available via west side footpath on Ivanhoe Walk; Gaitside Crescent Aberdeen, to the junction with Gaitside Drive from 08:00 on 23rd September, 2019, until 17:00 on 24th September, 2019. An alternative route is available via Auchinyell Road, Gaitside Terrace and Gaitside Drive; the west side footpath on Ivanhoe Walk, Aberdeen between its junctions with Morrison Drive and Ivanhoe Road from 08:00 on 23rd September, 2019, until 17:00 on 25th September, 2019. An alternative route is available via east side footpath on Ivanhoe Walk.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Auchinyell Road, Gaitside Crescent, Gaitside Drive, Gaitside Place, Gaitside Terrace, Ivanhoe Place, Ivanhoe Road, Morrison Drive, Talisman Drive, Talisman Road, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 11th September, 2019, until 17:00 on 22nd October, 2019.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
The no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time.
