Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order, which will operate from 08:00 on 29th August, 2019, until 17:00 on 9th October, 2019, is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat;
Back Hilton Road, Beattie Avenue, Beattie Place, Cadenhead Place, Carnie Drive, Cattofield Gardens, Elder Place, Gillespie Crescent, Aberdeen.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.
The no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre.
