Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Abergeldie Road, Aberdeen, between its junction with Broomhill Road and the boundary between number 79 and 81 Abergeldie Road from 08:00 on 7th September, 2019, until 17:00 on 8th September, 2019. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Balmoral Place, Broomhill Lane, Broomhill Road, Gray Street, Irvine Place, Pitstruan Place, Pitstruan Terrace, Salisbury Place, Salisbury Terrace, south side of Great Western Road between its junctions with Salisbury Terrace and Holburn Road, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 26th August, 2019, until 17:00 on 6th October, 2019.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
The no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time.
