Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets; Marchburn Road, Aberdeen, between its junction with Byron Crescent and the boundary between number 15 and 17 Marchburn Road from 08:00 on 5th September, 2019, until 17:00 on 6th September, 2019. Kettlehills Lane, Aberdeen, between its junction with Kettlehills Road and the boundary between number 8 and 10 Kettlehills Lane from 08:00 on 24th September, 2019, until 17:00 on 25th September, 2019. Kettlehills Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Kettlehills Lane and Deansloch Terrace from 08:00 on 26th September, 2019, until 17:00 on 27th September, 2019. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Brebner Terrace, Byron Avenue, Byron Crescent, Byron Square, Deansloch Crescent, Deansloch Place, Deansloch Terrace, Kettlehills Crescent, Kettlehills Lane, Kettlehills Road, Marchburn Road, Quarry Place, Quarry Road, Stewart Terrace, Westerton Crescent, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 21st August, 2019, until 17:00 on 1st October, 2019.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
The no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time.
