Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 62(1) of the Roads Scotland Act 1984
The effect of these orders, which will operate from 18:00 on 7 June 2019 until 20:00 on 8 June 2019, there will be a temporary prohibition of waiting on either side of Thistle Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Rose Street and Chapel Street, also from 06:00 until 20:00 on 8 June, 2019, there will be a temporary prohibition of driving on Thistle Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Rose Street and Chapel Street.
From 16:00 until 24:00 on each day from 21 June, 2019 until 23 June, 2019, there will be a temporary prohibition of driving on The Green, Aberdeen, between its junctions Correction Wynd, Carmelite Street and Rennies Wynd.
From 05:00 until 20:00 on 29 June, 2019, Belmont Street, Little Belmont Street and Gaelic Lane, Aberdeen, will be closed, with the exception of vehicles loading or unloading or vehicles taking access to disabled parking bays on Little Belmont Street. Also, during this time, the existing one-way restriction on Little Belmont Street, Aberdeen, will be suspended.
These measures are necessary to protect public safety during the George Street, Thistle Street, the Green Food Markets and Belmont Street Markets.
