Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order, which will operate from 04:00 until 09:00 on 6 June, 2019, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Harriet Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Loch Street and Schoolhill. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. Also Loch Street, Aberdeen, will be closed between its junctions with Berry Street and George Street. During this time the existing pedestrianised area on George Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Loch Street and St Andrew Street shall be suspended. And a one-way restriction will be in place. The direction of flow will be southbound. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during survey works on the Bon accord Centre resurfacing works.
