Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order is to close Exploration Drive, Aberdeen, between its junction with Technology Park Roundabout and the car park access 50 metres east of this junction from 12:00 to 23:59 on 12 June, 2019. There will be a prohibition of waiting on either side of Exhibition Avenue, Aberdeen, and Parkway East, Aberdeen, from 19:00 on 11 June, 2019, to 23:59 on 12 June, 2019. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on King Roberts Way, Aberdeen, King Roberts Place, Aberdeen, and Morrisons Croft Crescent, Aberdeen, from 10:00 to 23:59 on 12 June, 2019. The restrictions are in the interests of public safety and to ease traffic congestion during the Rod Stewart concert at the AECC.
