Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:30 on 3 June, 2019, until 24:00 on 9 August, 2019, is to suspend all waiting for any purpose on the north side of Schoolhill, Aberdeen, including inset road, between its junction with Blackfriars Street and the west boundary of 60/62 Schoolhill. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.
From 19:30 on 1 July, 2019, until 18:00 on 9 August, 2019, there will also be a road closure on Schoolhill [ inset road only], Aberdeen, between its junction with the inset road and the entrance to Robert Gordons College. During this time the existing one-way restriction on Schoolhill [ inset road only], Aberdeen, between the entrance to Robert Gordons College and the west boundary of 60/62 Schoolhill, shall be suspended.
From 19:30 on 1 July, 2019, until 18:00 on 19 July, 2019 Schoolhill, Aberdeen, will be one-way, between its junctions with Blackfriars Street and Harriet Street. The direction of flow will be eastbound.
The restrictions are in the interests of public safety during construction works by Hunter Construction for Aberdeen City Council.

Alternative Route: An alternative route is available via Schoolhill, Upperkirkgate, Gallowgate, Berry Street, St Andrew Street and Blackfriars Street.
