Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Esplanade, Aberdeen, between its junction with Beach Boulevard and a point 50 metres in a southerly direction, from 18:00 on 23 June, 2019, until 22:00 on 28 June, 2019, and from 18:00 on 30 June, 2019, until 22:00 on 4 July, 2019.
There will be a prohibition of driving on Links Road, Aberdeen, between its northern junction with Esplanade and its junction with Urquhart Road, from 18:00 on 23 June, 2019, until 22:00 on 28 June, 2019. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Access to properties will be maintained when possible. There will be a prohibition of waiting on Esplanade, Aberdeen, between its northern junction with Links Road and its junction with Beach Boulevard, from 18:00 on 23 June, 2019, until 22:00 on 28 June, 2019. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.

There will be a one-way restriction on Esplanade, Aberdeen, and Beach Boulevard, Aberdeen between the Esplanades northern junction with Links Road and the Beach Boulevards junction with Links Road, from 18:00 on 30 June, 2019, until 22:00 on 4 July, 2019. The permitted direction of travel will be east and northbound only.

Alternative Route: An alternative route is available via its southern junction with Links Road and Beach Boulevard. An alternative route is available via Esplanade and Beach Boulevard. An alternative route for south and westbound vehicles is available via Links Road.
