Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Grampian Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Victoria Road and Grampian Place from 07:30 on 11 June, 2019, until 17:30 on 19 June, 2019. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road from 07:30-17:30 Mon-Fri. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Access to properties will be maintained when possible. There will also be a prohibition of waiting at any time on the north-western side of Walker Road, Aberdeen, from the boundary between numbers 42 and 44 Walker Road to the boundary between numbers 34-36 and 38 Walker Road, the eastern side of Walker Road, Aberdeen, from the boundary between numbers 75 and 77 Walker Road to the boundary between numbers 81 and 83 Walker Road, and the western side of Walker Road, Aberdeen, between its junction with Grampian Place and the boundary between numbers 138 and 140 Walker Road. The parking restriction on Walker Road are to allow buses to pass each other on the diversion route. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during carriageway surfacing works.
