Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order, which will operate from 16:00 on 5 April 2019 until 18:00 on 26 April 2019, is to close Pittodrie Street, Aberdeen, between its junction with Pittodrie Lane and the east boundary of 17 to 23 Pittodrie Street. During this time there will be a suspension of waiting on either side of the same stretch of road. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Also, Pittodrie Lane, Aberdeen, will be closed between its junction with Pittodrie Street and Merkland Road East. Also During this time there will be a suspension of waiting on either side of the same stretch of road. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Also, during this time, the existing one-way restriction on Pittodrie Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Pittodrie Lane and King Street, shall be suspended. The temporary one-way restriction will be reinstated for all match days at Pittodrie Stadium during this order.
The restrictions are in the interests of public safety during road construction works by Robertsons.
Alternative Route: An alternative route is available via Ardarroch Road, Pittodrie Place, King Street and Pittodrie Street; and an alternative route is available via Pittodrie Lane, Pittodrie Place, King Street and Merkland Road East.
