Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets;
1. Caiesdykes Road, Aberdeen, between its eastern junction with Laws Drive to the boundary between number 94 and 96 Caiesdykes Road from 08:00 on 31st January, 2019, until 17:00 on 1st February, 2019.
2.The eastern carriageway of Laws Drive, Aberdeen, between its junction with Caiesdykes Road and a point 10 metres in a northerly direction from 08:00 on 4th February, 2019, until 17:00 on 5th February, 2019. 3.Cairngorm Place, Aberdeen, between its junction with Cairngorm Drive and a point 10 metres in a southerly direction from 08:00 on 11th February, 2019, until 17:00 on 12th February, 2019.
4.Cairngorm Place, Aberdeen, from the gable end of number 1 Cairngorm Place to the boundary between number 7 and 9 Cairngorm Place from 08:00 on 21st February, 2019, until 17:00 on 22nd February, 2019. 5.Cairngorm Place, Aberdeen, between its junction with Cairnvale Crescent and a point 10 metres in an easterly direction from 08:00 on 25th February, 2019, until 17:00 on 26th February, 2019. 6.Caiesdykes Drive, Aberdeen, between its junction with MacKay Road and the boundary between number 19 and 21 Caiesdykes Drive from 08:00 on 5th March, 2019, until 17:00 on 6th March, 2019. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat;
Buchanan Place, Caiesdykes Crescent, Caiesdykes Drive, Caiesdykes Road, Cairnvale Crescent, Cairngorm Drive Cairngorm Place, Laws Drive, Laws Road, Mathews Road, Nigg Way, Slessor Drive from 08:00 on 30th January, 2019, until 17:00 on 12th March, 2019.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
The no-waiting restrictions will only be implemented as and when required, and will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time
The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre.

4. An alternative route is available via Cairngorm Drive and Cairnvale Crescent; 5. An alternative route is available via Cairnvale Crescent and Cairngorm Drive; 6. An alternative route is available via Mathews Road, Gardner Drive and MacKay Road.
