Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets;
1. Gardner Road, Aberdeen, between its junction with Webster Road and a point 10 metres in a westerly direction from 08:00 on 1st February, 2019, until 17:00 on 2nd February, 2019. 2. MacKay Road, Aberdeen, between its junction with Gardner Drive and a point 10 metres in an easterly direction from 08:00 on 7th February, 2019, until 17:00 on 8th February, 2019. 3. Gardner Road, Aberdeen from the gable end of number 15 Gardner Road to the gable end of numbers 38-46 Gardner Road from 08:00 on 14th February, 2019, until 17:00 on 15th February, 2019. 4. The northern carriageway of Hetherwick Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Gardner Road and Gardner Crescent from 08:00 on 1st March, 2019, until 17:00 on 2nd March, 2019. 5. The southern carriageway of Hetherwick Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Gardner Road and Gardner Crescent from 08:00 on 4th March, 2019, until 17:00 on 5th March, 2019. 6. Gardner Place, Aberdeen, between its junction with Gardner Crescent and a point 15 metres in an easterly direction from 08:00 on 6th March, 2019, until 17:00 on 7th March, 2019. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat;
Caiesdykes Road, Cairngorm Drive, Gardner Crescent, Gardner Drive, Gardner Place, Gardner Road, Hetherwick Road, Laws Road, MacKay Road, Mathews Road, Shepherd Place, Webster Road from 08:00 on 30th January, 2019, until 17:00 on 12th March, 2019.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.
The no-waiting restrictions will only be implemented as and when required, and will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time
The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre.
