Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:30 on 14 January, 2019, until 17:30 on 8 February, 2019, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the eastern carriageway of Strathmore Drive, Aberdeen, from the boundary between numbers 12 and 14 Strathmore Drive to the boundary between numbers 40 and 42 Strathmore Drive, and Strathmore Drive, Aberdeen, from the boundary between numbers 64 and 65 Strathmore Drive to its junction with Deveron Road, and on Esk Place, Aberdeen, from the western gable of number 28 Esk Place to its junction with Strathmore Drive. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretches of road from 07:30-17:30 Mon-Fri. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during footway surfacing works. Alternative Route: An alternative route is available via Ugie Place, Upper Mastrick Way and Deveron Road or Spey Road.
