Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:30 on 8 October, 2018, until 17:30 on 12 October, 2018, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following roads; Weavers Row, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Westerton Crescent and Byron Crescent; Westerton Crescent, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Marchburn Avenue and the cul-de-sac at numbers 6-24 Westerton Crescent; Byron Crescent, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Weavers Row and Northfield Library access road; Byron Avenue, Aberdeen, between its northern junction with Byron Square and its junction with Byron Crescent. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretches of road from 07:30 to 17:30 daily. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during carriageway resurfacing works. Alternative Route: An alternative route is available via Marchburn Road, Quarry Road, and Byron Square.
