Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order, which will operate from 00:00 on 5 April, 2018, until 23:00 on 4 October, 2019, is to impose a one-way restriction on Greyhope Road, Aberdeen, between its junction with Sinclair Road, and its western junction with St. Fitticks Road. The direction of travel will be eastbound only. There will also be a 7.5 Tonne weight restriction imposed on Greyhope Road, Aberdeen, between its junction with Sinclair Road, and Girdle Ness Lighthouse, and on St Fitticks Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Abbey Road and its northern junction with Greyhope Road. Aberdeen City Council vehicles will be exempt from the weight restriction. The restrictions are in the interests of public safety during carriageway foundations and sea wall works.

Alternative Route: An alternative route for westbound vehicles is available via Victoria Road, South Esplanade East, Crombie Place and Sinclair Road.
