Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 08:00 on 19 March, 2018, until 22:00 on 23 March, 2018, is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting on the east side of George Street, Aberdeen, from the boundary between numbers 256 and 262 George Street to the boundary between numbers 266 and 268 George Street. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during gas connection works.
