Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:30 on 19 February, 2018, until 24:00 on 16 July, 2018, is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting for any purpose on north-west side of Queen Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Broad Street and the south boundary of 29-31 Queen Street, and on north-west side of Queen Street, Aberdeen, between the north boundary of 29-31 Queen Street, South westerly for a distance of ten metres, with the exception of disabled vehicles and also on either side of Broad Street, Aberdeen, between its North junction with Queen Street and its junction Union Street. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Queen Street, Aberdeen will be closed between its junctions with Poultry Market Lane and West North Street, with the exception of emergency response vehicles. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during street reconstruction works
