Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 08:00 on 27th March, 2018, until 22:00 on 30th March, 2018, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Seafield Drive East, Aberdeen, between its junction with Seafield Road and a point 10 metres in a northerly direction. An alternative route is available via Seafield Crescent and Seafield Drive West and also on Wellbrae Crescent, Aberdeen, between its junction with Seafield Road and a point 5 metres in a southerly direction.There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of Seafield Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Seafield Gardens and Mayfield Gardens. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during BT Openreach works. An alternative route is available via Countesswells Road and Seafield Gardens.
