Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order is to impose a temporary one-way restriction on Don Street, Woodside, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Don Place and Hayton Road, from 18:30 on 9 February, 2018, until 06:30 on 12 February, 2018, and then from between its junctions with Great Northern Road and Hayton Road, from 06:30 on 12 February, 2018, until 06:30 on 19 February, 2018. The permitted direction of travel will be north-eastbound only. There will be a prohibition of waiting at any time on either side of Don Street, Woodside, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Don Place and Hayton Road, from 18:30 on 9 February, 2018, until 06:30 on 19 February, 2018. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of Don Street, Woodside, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Donbank Terrace and the boundary between numbers 80 and 82 Don Street, from 18:30 on 9 February, 2018, until 06:30 on 19 March, 2018. The no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the whole street at any one time, and will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during works being carried out by Scottish Water and Scotland Gas Networks. An alternative route is available via Hayton Road, Tillydrone Road, Tillydrone Avenue, and St Machar Drive.
