Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 23:00 on 5 December 2017, until 23:00 on 30 May, 2019, is to impose a one-way restriction on Greyhope Road, Aberdeen, between its junction with Sinclair Road and its western junction with St. Fitticks Road. The direction of travel will be Eastbound. Also a 7.5 Tonne weight restriction will be imposed on the same stretch of road. The restriction are in the interests of public safety during carriageway foundations and sea wall works. An alternative route for westbound vehicles is available via Victoria Road, South Esplanade East, Crombie Place and Sinclair Road.
