Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the U58C Caskieben Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with the C55C Pitmedden Road and the U60C Cairntradlin-Kintore, from 09:15-15:45 on 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22 December, 2017, and also from 07:30 on 9 December, 2017, until 22:00 on 10 December, 2017, and from 07:30 on 16 December, 2017, until 22:00 on 17 December, 2017. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during electricity cable works being carried out by SSE. An alternative route is available via the A96 Inverurie Road, Airport Road, Dyce Drive, and Pitmedden Road.
