Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:30 on 30 October, 2017, until 22:00 on 15 December, 2017, is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting on the east side of Richmondhill Place, Aberdeen, between its junction with Kings Gate and the entrance to Richmondhill House. The parking restrictions will only be implemented as and when required, and will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. When the parking restriction is not implemented, the parking bays will be available to Blue Badge Scheme holders only. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during footway resurfacing works.
