Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 62(1) of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984.and under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The order provides for the Belmont Street Country Fair and Street Market. The effect of the order, which will operate between 06:00 and 17:00 on Saturday, 28 October, 2017, is to impose a prohibition of driving on Belmont Street, Little Belmont Street and Gaelic Lane, Aberdeen. In the case of Little Belmont Street, Aberdeen, there will be an exemption for access, but only for loading or unloading goods, and disabled badge holders taking access to disabled parking bays on Little Belmont Street. Also, the one way restriction on Little Belmont Street, Aberdeen, shall be suspended.
