Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 19:00 on 20 October, 2017, until 06:00 on 23 October, 2017, is to impose a one-way restriction on St Machar Drive, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Kittybrewster Roundabout and St Machar Road. The permitted direction of travel will be eastbound only. The restriction is in the interests of public safety during bridge resurfacing works. An alternative route for westbound vehicles is available via King Street, Mounthooly Way, Mounthooly, Mounthooly Roundabout, Causewayend, Powis Place, Powis Terrace and Great Northern Road.
