Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers Under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on School Avenue, Aberdeen, between its junction with Regent Walk and a point 10 metres in a northerly direction from 08:00 until 22:00 on 28th October, 2017. There will also be a prohibition of driving on Regent Walk, Aberdeen, between its junction with King Street and a point 10 metres in a easterly direction from 08:00 on 4th November, 2017, until 22:00 on 5th November,2017. An alternative route is available via King Street, School Road and School Avenue. There will also be a temporary prohibition of waiting on the north side of Regent Walk, Aberdeen, between its junctions with School Avenue and the boundary between number 45 and 47 Regent Walk from 08:00 on 30th October, 2017, until 22:00 on 3rd November, 2017. There will be a prohibition of right turn manoeuvres for southbound traffic from King Street, Aberdeen, on to Regent Walk from 08:00 on 4th November, 2017, until 22:00 on 5th November, 2017. The no-waiting restrictions will only be implemented as and when required, and will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre. An alternative route is available via Regent Walk, Golf Road and School Road.
