Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 19:00 on 7th November, 2017, until 06:00 on 8th November, 2017, is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting on the following roads; Either side of Summerhill Road, Aberdeen, from the junction with Rosewell Place to the boundary between numbers 23 and 25 Summerhill Road; Either side of Rosewell Gardens, Aberdeen, from the junction with Summerhill Road to a point 20 metres in an westerly direction and also on either side of Balfron Place, Aberdeen, from the junction with Summerhill Road to a point 20 metres in an easterly direction. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones The measure is necessary to protect public safety during Scottish Water ironworks
