Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 09:30 on 16 October, 2017, until 22:00 on 29 October, 2017, is to impose a temporary prohibition of traverse by pedestrians on Whitestripes Avenue, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Whitestripes Road and Buckie Road. There will also be Temporary Traffic Signals in use during this period - at above location. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during duct installation works for a new pedestrian crossing. An alternative route for pedestrians is available via Whitestripes Road Buckie Close, and Buckie Road.
