Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:30 on 16th October 2017, until 22:00 on 22nd October 2017, is to impose a temporary one-way restriction on U49C Inverurie Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with A947 New Stoneywood Road and A96 Inverurie Road. The permitted direction of travel will be westbound only. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of U49C Inverurie Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with A947 New Stoneywood Road and A96 Inverurie Road. The no-waiting restriction will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during electrical connection works. An alternative route is available via A96 Inverurie Road eastbound, Bucksburn Roundabout and the A947 New Stoneywood Road northbound.
