Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 05:30 on 4 September, 2017, until 22:00 on 9 September, 2017, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following roads; Fernielea Crescent, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Stronsay Drive and Fernielea Road; Fernielea Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Fernielea Crescent and Fernielea Place and also on Fernielea Place, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Fernielea Road and Eday Road. There will also be a prohibition of waiting from 08:00-17:00 Mon-Fri on the same stretch of roads. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during resurfacing works. An alternative route is available via Stronsay Drive & Eday Road.
