Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 19:00 on 1 September, 2017, until 06:00 on 4 September, 2017, and from 19:00 on 8 September, 2017, until 06:00 on 11 September, 2017, is to impose a temporary one-way restriction on Denmore Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with the access to B&Q car park and the B999 Tarves Road. The permitted direction of travel will be northbound only. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during works to construct a new entrance for a new development. An alternative route for southbound vehicles is available via the B999 Tarves Road, the A90 Ellon Road, the A90 Parkway, and Woodside Road.
