Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 08:00 on 30 August, 2017, until 22:00 on 1 September, 2017 is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting on the north side of Victoria Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Mansefield Road and Baxter Street. The no-waiting restrictions will only be implemented as and when required, and will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre.
