Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 23:01 on 22 June, 2017 until 23:00 on 22 September, 2017, is to impose a one-way restriction on Justice Mill Lane, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Hardgate and Holburn Street. The permitted direction of travel will be westbound only. There will also be no waiting at any time, on the south side of Justice Mill Lane, Aberdeen, from its junction with Hardgate and the access road to the Travelodge car park. The restriction is in the interests of public safety during lifting and other operations at a nearby development. An alternative route for eastbound vehicles is available via Holburn Street, Union Street and Bon Accord Terrace.
