Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:30 on 7th August, 2017, until 22:00 on 11th August, 2017, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Strathburn Street, Aberdeen, between its western junction with Langdykes Road and a point 30 metres in an easterly direction. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of Strathburn Street, Aberdeen, between its western junction with Langdykes Road and a point 30 metres in an easterly direction. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during Openreach works. An alternative route is available via Langdykes Road at the eastern junction of Strathburn Street.
