Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 08.00 on 19 June, 2017, until 17:00 on 18 December, 2018, is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting on either side of St Fitticks Road, Aberdeen, between its junction with Coast Road and a point 200 metres in a North Westerly direction, and also on either side of Coast Road, Aberdeen, between its junction with St Fitticks Road and Bridge of One Hair. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during construction works for a new harbour.
