Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Kirk Brae, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Kirk Place and Friarsfield Road, from 05:30 on 3 July, 2017, until 06:30 on 24 July, 2017. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. An alternative route is available via North Deeside Road, Baillieswells Road, and Ladyhill Road. There will be a prohibition of driving on Kirk Terrace, Aberdeen, its junction with Kirk Brae and a point 10 metres in a south westerly direction, from 09:00 until 16:00 on 4 July, 2017. An alternative route is available via Kirk Drive, Kirk Crescent North, Hilltop Road, and Hilltop Avenue. There will be a prohibition of driving on Friarsfield Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Kirk Brae and Abbotshall Drive, from 06:30 on 24 July, 2017, until 06:30 on 28 August, 2017. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. An alternative route is available via Kirk Brae, North Deeside Road, and Abbotshall Road. There will be a prohibition of driving on Craigton Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Airyhall Avenue and Bairds Brae, from 06:30 on 14 August, 2017, until 22:00 on 18 August, 2017. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. An alternative route is available via Springfield Road, North Deeside Road, and Abbotshall Road. There will be a prohibition of driving on Friarsfield Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Kirk Brae and Abbotshall Road, from 06:30 on 21 August, 2017, until 06:30 on 28 August, 2017. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. An alternative route is available via Kirk Brae, North Deeside Road, and Abbotshall Road. There will be a prohibition of driving on Abbotshall Drive, Aberdeen, between its junction with Friarsfield Road and a point 10 metres in a southerly direction, from 06:30 on 21 August, 2017, until 06:30 on 28 August, 2017. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road. An alternative route is available via Abbotshall Road. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during gas mains connection works on Kirk Brae, Friarsfield Road and Abbotswell Drive being carried out by SGN, ironwork repairs on Kirk Terrace and Friarsfield Road being carried out by Scottish Water, and for carriageway resurfacing works on Craigton Road and Friarsfield Road by Aberdeen City Council.
