Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Gardner Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Gardner Drive and Webster Road from 05:30 on 3 July, 2017, until 24:00 on 7 July, 2017. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road between 08:00 and 17:00 daily. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during carriageway resurfacing works An alternative route is available via Gardner Drive, Cairngorm Road and Webster Road.
