Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 19:00 on 21 July, 2017, until 06:30 on 24 July, 2017, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Mugiemoss Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Oldmeldrum Road and Station Road. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during water connection works for a new development. An alternative route is available via Oldmeldrum Road, A96 Auchmill Road, A96 Great Northern Road, A90 Mugiemoss Road.
