Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:30 on 15 May, 2017, until 24:00 on 28 May, 2017, is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting on the west side of Church Street, Aberdeen, between its junction with Waterloo Quay and the south boundary of number 11 Church Street. Also on the either side of Clarence Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Wellington Street and Church Street. And finally on the east side of Wellington Street, Aberdeen, between its junction with St. Clements Street and the south boundary of number 16 Wellington Street. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during urgent Water main relining works by Scottish Water.
