Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:00 on 17 May, 2017 until 23:00 on 16 June, 2017, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Foresterhill Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Westburn Road and the entrance to accident and emergency. The direction of flow will be northbound. Also there will be a suspension of waiting on either side of the same stretch of road. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during heating duct installation by Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. An alternative route is available via Ashgrove Road West, Cornhill Road, Westburn Drive and Westburn Road.
