Type Of Event: Annual wine tasting, no alcohol will be sold on the premises. Orders can be placed via an order form. Admittance is by ticket only £25 (£15 from each ticket going to the Multiple Sclerosis Society and tickets also include a £10 voucher which can only be used in our stores / on our website for customers placing orders). The application is for 11am to 6pm. The wine tasting will be from 12pm – 4pm, we have allowed an hour prior to the event for setting up and two hours after the event for clearing the Church sanctuary. The only other activity we will have will be a raffle draw at 3pm. In relation to the Licensing objectives, we will ensure no children or young people are at the venue and a Think 25 policy will be in force. All of our staff at the event have been fully trained and as a team we will working to ensure that the Licensing objectives are met. Our event is ticketed, in addition to only selling the set limit of tickets for the venue, we will also make regular assessments of the venue in relation to the five objectives – preventing crime and disorder, securing public safety, preventing public nuisance, protecting and improving public health and protecting children from harm.
