The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (CRIT Under The Castle – Cycle Event) (Temporary Road Closure and Traffic Management) Order 2014 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 18-7-14.
Legislation Information
The ORDER will:_
Introduce a temporary closure from 1000 hours until 2200 hours on 10-8-14 on the following roads:-
Albert Place, Clarendon Place, Corn Exchange Road, Dumbarton Road (East), Kings Park Road, King Street, Murray Place, Port Street, Spittal Street, Victoria Place, Victoria Square, Stirling
Alternative Route: via Dumbarton Road (West) , Raploch Road, Back O’Hill Road, Lower Bridge Street, Cowane Street, Goosecroft Road, Wellgreen, St Ninians Road, Snowdown Place, Drummond Place, Victoria Place, Queens Road, and vice versa
Introduce a temporary closure from 1800 hours until 2200 hours on 10-8-14 on the following roads:-
Mar Place, Spittal Street and St John Street, Stirling.
Reverse the one-way system from 1000 hours 2200 hours on 10-8-14 on the following road:-
Bank Street, Stirling.
Suspend the access restrictions on the following road from 1000 hours until 2200 hours on 10-8-14:-
Friars Street, Stirling.
Suspend the parking on the following roads from 1000 hours until 2200 hours on 10-8-14:-
Corn Exchange Road and Dumbarton Road (East), Stirling
Note: access restrictions will apply from 1000 hours until 2200 hours on 10-8-14 on the following roads:-
Abercromby Place, Allan Park, Balmoral Place, Cameronian Street, Clarendon Road, Glebe Crescent, Upper Craigs, Victoria Place, Victoria Road, Victoria Square (south side), Windsor Place:-
All restrictions are required in the interests of public safety during the CRIT Under The Castle – Cycle Event.
