TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

A761 Kilmacolm Road, Bridge of Weir

The Renfrewshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby gives notice that, because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads, no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven or cause or permit any vehicle (except works vehicles) to wait or load on the following length of road in the town of Bridge of Weir in the Unitary Authority of Renfrewshire:

 A761 Kilmacolm Road, from Strathgryffe Crescent westwards for a distance of 400 metres or thereby

 Alternative Routes: Torr Road, B786, by Hattrick Cottages, over Craigends Bridge and vice versa.

Vehicles left on the road in contravention of this Notice will be moved out of the works area.

This notice will be in force from 0001 hours on Friday 24^th January 2014 for a maximum period of 5 days. This notice will only be effective when so displayed by signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions 2002.

 PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A LOW BRIDGE ON DIVERSION ROUTE AT JUNCTION WITH TORR ROAD/MAIN STREET BRIDGE OF WEIR (4.2 METRES HIGH)
