On 22/09/15 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them under Section 14(1) of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on Crofthead Rd and Sunnyside, Kilmaurs, at the Railway Bridge, (except vehicles engaged in the bridge works), for the purpose of facilitating bridge maintenance works.
The Order will come into operation at 23:00 hrs on 03/10/15 and will remain in operation until 08:00 hrs on 11/10/15 and will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
The road will be closed at night only and during the times stated below;
From 23:00 hrs on Sat 03/10/2015 until 08:00 Sun 04/10/2015
From 23:00 hrs on Sun 04/10/2015 until 07:00 Mon 05/10/2015
From 23:00 hrs on Mon 05/10/2015 until 07:00 Tue 06/10/2015
From 23:00 hrs on Tue 06/10/2015 until 07:00 Wed 07/10/2015
From 23:00 hrs on Wed 07/10/2015 until 07:00 Thu 08/10/2015
From 23:00 hrs on Thu 08/10/2015 until 07:00 Fri 09/10/2015
From 23:00 hrs on Fri 09/10/2015 until 07:00 Sat 10/10/2015
From 23:00 hrs on Sat 10/10/2015 until 08:00 Sun 11/10/2015
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.
Alternative Route: via Yardside Rd, Irvine Rd, Main St and Sunnyside and vice versa.
