NOTICE is hereby given that the above named Notice has been made under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, use of the following road by the under noted classes of vehicle shall be restricted as stated herein-
Name of Road - B7046 Sinclairston
Affected Length of Road - From its junction with the C83 Hayhill Road North Eastwards for a distance of 600m.
Nature of Restriction - ROAD CLOSURE
Period of Restriction - From 08:00 hrs on Mon 25th May 2015 until 17:00 hrs on Friday 29th May 2015
Reason for Restriction - Carriageway Resurfacing
Classes of Vehicles Affected - All, except vehicles engaged in the resurfacing works, emergency vehicles or
vehicles requiring access to properties within or via the closed road.
Alternative Route: For Non High Sided vehicles - Diverted traffic should proceed via C36, A76 to
New Cumnock, B741and vice versa.
Alternative Route: For High Sided vehicles – B730,A713,B741,A76 before re-joining the A70 at
Dettingen Roundabout, Cumnock.
Please note – The Signed Diversion Route is not suitable for High Sided Vehicles.
However, there may be times when we can facilitate the movement of High Sided Vehicles through the works site. Therefore, we would advise drivers of High Sided Vehicles to contact our Site Marshal on 07791435856 to discuss access through the works site. This telephone number will also be displayed on temporary signs which will be sited in advance of the closed road and will advise drivers of High Sided Vehicles to phone the Site Marshal regarding access or they can use an alternative route.
